Original value
GameTrendex does not publish scraped articles, lightly reworded reporting, or pages created only to capture a keyword variant. External material is used to verify facts and provide context; the published structure, analysis, and practical guidance must add meaningful value.
Sourcing and attribution
Material time-sensitive claims should be supported by a source readers can inspect. First-party sources are preferred. Secondary reporting is attributed, and direct quotations are kept short and necessary.
Anonymous social posts, search snippets, AI summaries, and copied databases are not treated as authoritative sources. A missing official confirmation must be described as missing—not filled with a guess.
AI-assisted work
AI may assist with discovery, clustering, outlines, copy editing, code, or image generation. It is not accepted as a factual source. Material claims are checked against cited sources, and an editor remains responsible for the final page.
AI-generated illustrations are used as editorial visuals, not passed off as official screenshots, leaked assets, or documentary evidence. Alt text describes their function without implying authenticity.
Hands-on and review claims
We do not claim first-hand testing, access, ownership, or attendance unless it actually occurred. Preview and recommendation language must make the evidence basis clear and distinguish specifications from lived experience.
Commercial independence
Advertisers, sponsors, and affiliate partners do not receive editorial approval or guaranteed coverage. Sponsored material and compensated links are disclosed in a way readers can see before acting.
Updates and corrections
Routine freshness changes may update a verification date. Material errors are corrected promptly and, when the change affects the meaning of a page, noted transparently. We do not silently preserve a known falsehood for traffic.
