What these technologies are

Cookies are small values a website or service asks a browser to store. Local storage is another browser storage mechanism. Pixels, web beacons, IP addresses, and device or browser identifiers can also support delivery, security, measurement, and advertising without looking like a traditional cookie.

Google AdSense cookies and identifiers

A page containing Google ad tags can cause Google or advertising partners to place or read cookies, use web beacons, receive IP addresses, or use other identifiers. Google explains that its advertising cookies can support ad selection, frequency capping, reporting, and fraud protection.

The exact vendors, purposes, names, and lifetimes can change by region, browser, consent choice, and Google configuration. The consent interface is the current source for the active vendor and purpose list when it applies.

Analytics and performance measurement

Vercel Web Analytics states that it uses aggregated, anonymized data and no third-party analytics cookies. Speed Insights collects real-user performance data points from the browser. Hosting infrastructure may still process ordinary request and security data needed to deliver the site.

Google Analytics uses the Google tag with Consent Mode v2. In the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Analytics storage and advertising-related consent parameters default to denied until the certified consent message updates the visitor’s choices. Outside those regions, the tag uses the site’s configured measurement defaults, subject to applicable law and available privacy controls.

Manage your choices

Use “Privacy and cookie settings” to revisit choices offered for your region. You can also use Google My Ad Center, browser cookie controls, private browsing, content blocking, or device privacy settings. Blocking all storage may affect consent memory or third-party features.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Some necessary security and delivery processing may continue because the site cannot operate safely without it.
