How to report an issue
Email support@gametrendex.com with the page URL, the exact claim, why it appears wrong, and the strongest available source. Screenshots are useful for transient storefront, status, or in-game states, but an inspectable first-party source is preferred.
Review process
We compare the report with the cited evidence, the page’s original sources, and the source closest to the underlying event. We may contact the reporter for clarification. Popularity, repetition, or a search snippet alone does not establish a fact.
How changes are labeled
Material corrections receive a visible note when the previous wording could have changed a reader’s decision. Minor spelling, formatting, or style repairs do not require a correction note.
- Freshness update: a live value changes as expected, such as a server returning online or a beta ending.
- Clarification: wording becomes more precise without changing the core conclusion.
- Correction: a material factual statement or implication was wrong and is replaced with the verified record.
- Retraction: the page’s central premise cannot be supported or the content should not have been published.
Priority and timing
Issues involving safety, purchases, access windows, impersonation, or clearly false current-status claims receive priority. Complex disputes may take longer because speed does not replace verification.
Disagreement and appeal
If you disagree with the outcome, reply with additional primary evidence and explain the remaining factual issue. Editorial disagreement, preference, or a request to remove accurate public-interest information is not automatically a correction.
